Where can I get my dress cleaned post wedding?
We offer a cleaning service for your gown and we are also able to box your dress. Ask in store for details.
I've already got my dress but I'd like to look at accessories?
You are welcome to view our exquisite range of accessories including the latest in tiaras, veils and bridal shoes. We also offer a shoe dye service.
How much do alterations cost?
We do not have fixed alteration charge. Our independent fitter will charge you only for alterations required.
How many fittings do I need to have?
After choosing your dress, we will take your measurements and order the nearest stock size. It is most likely that when your gown arrives you will need some alterations to obtain the best possible fit. You will normally need two fittings with our fitter and for your convenience fittings are conducted in store on aTuesday or Saturday morning.
Can I take photographs in the shop?
No, our designers have requested that no photographs are taken prior to purchasing your gown. We are happy for you to take photos of your actual dress once the dress is purchased, but keep it safe if you don't want your fiance to see!
Can I bring my Mum and a group of friends with me to help choose my dress?
Yes, our aim is to offer an inviting, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Choosing your wedding dress should be fun and we hope to make it an enjoyable experience. Somtimes, it's better just to bring one or two people whose opinion you really trust and value rather than involving too many people with conflicting ideas. Remember your dress should be a surprise for friends on you big day.
Can I bring my young children and babies into the store?
Yes, of course children and babies are welcome. We would ask that you have someone to supervise them at all times to avoid any accidents.
Do you hire?
No, we don't but we have a collection of discontinued gowns available to try at reduced prices, which would compare to the cost of hiring.
I'm getting married in two weeks and haven't got my dress yet, can you help me?
We will certainly try! With over 300 gowns available in store to try off the peg, there is a good chance we will be able to help.
How long before the wedding should I order my dress?
Allow yourself as much time as possible. You will want to feel reassured that your dress will be in store in good time for your fittings. Most designers work on a 16-20 week delivery. Some manufacturers can do a "rush cut" for speedier delivery if time is short. We would always recommend to order early to avoid disappointment.
Do you sell bridesmaids dresses and Prom dresses?
Yes, we have an extensive collection in many varied colours and sizes.
How do I know what style will suit me?
Don't worry; many brides are perplexed as to what style is right for their shape and size. Our experienced and friendly straff are able to offer honest expert advice and will soon help you find a style that's right for you. We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy the whole wedding dress experience regardless of shape, size or budget.
What sizes do you have in store?
Our stock sizes range from size 8. We also have a comprehensive collection of gowns in sizes 18 - 26. Most styles are available to order in sizes 6 - 32.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes we do. The main doors are on street level and we also have a fitting room on our ground floor level.
Is there any parking near the shop?
Yes - we have a car park at the rear of the shop. Please use the unnumbered bays only. You can also park in Blenheim Gardens to the side of the shop.
Do I need to make an appointment to visit the store?
Not at all, we prefer a more informal approach so no appointment is necessary. You are welcome to visit us during shop hours of 9:30 - 5.00 Monday to Saturday. Appointments are only made when coming to fittings after you have chosen your gown.
